Work Manifesto - Exhibition and Lecture at the University of Waterloo (2016)

In 2016, I was the speaker and idealizer of the Exhibition "Work Manifesto" at the University of Waterloo , AGP Community Planning Café, 5th Installment, aiming at discussing with the importance of the labour practices of inhabitants of informal settlements which is a central aspect of my research.

"This conversation with the architect behind “Work Manifesto” will highlight the importance of social practices for planning according to the existing context of slums, based on 7 years of ethnographic fieldwork in the favelas of Brazil. We speculate how labour can be relevant to address both the theory of informal settlements and the planning of slums. How can the labour of dwellers and their associations with the city contribute to create equity in favelas?"
